A Break From the Routine

The kids and I really needed a break from the routine this week so yesterday we drove to Southport, ate lunch, and then took the ferry over to the aquarium. It was very cold and windy so Madelyn and I didn't venture out of the van on the ferry ride. We did get the perfect spot though. The passenger side of the van was on the outer side of the ferry so I opened the side door and Miller and Bailey got out and had fun taking pictures with their cameras.



Here are a few pictures that they took and they wanted me to share them with you. The first 3 are Miller's and the last 3 are Bailey's.








It was a great day to go because there were very few people there. We saw the diver in the big fish tank and we got to help with the touch tank feeding. Bailey and Miller both fed a horseshoe crab.
