Our 4th

Our 4th of July weekend started off with a sick girl. Bailey spent Saturday afternoon and most of Sunday on the couch feeling pretty crummy. She did muster up the energy to swim for a little while on Saturday (she was trying to make me believe she was well enough for church Sunday!).



Aunt Susan came on Sunday afternoon to visit us for a few days and we didn't tell the kids she was coming so I think the nice surprise perked Bailey up a bit! We wanted to watch the fireworks without having to deal with traffic so we parked near the river (our side of the river) and had the perfect view (without all that messy traffic afterward).

On Monday, Bailey woke up fever free and feeling much better so we went to the beach!


Monday night we went out to eat and then to Britt's Donuts for dessert! It was a great ending to a great day!
