Disney World

A very excited boy as we pulled into Disney World on Sunday!

The view from our room...

The first thing we did after getting settled in our room was eat supper at Chef Mickey's. Miller and Bailey had no idea what to expect.

Minnie Mouse was the first to come around to our table. As you can see, Madelyn was so excited to meet her. This is the last time you'll see a smile on her face when a character is in the picture!

This is the expression on Madelyn's face for the rest of the night!

3 very tired kids

We went to Magic Kingdom on Monday. We slept late and didn't get there until almost noon on Monday but ended up staying until 1am! Between 10pm and 1am was the best time to ride the rides (and ironically, Madelyn was in her best mood during that time). We went back on Thursday morning to see the special opening of the park and do a few things we missed on Monday.
Miller's favorite character was Stitch

The indy speedway was Madelyn's favorite ride

Splash Mountain was a favorite for these 3

Here they are coming down

A very tired princess

We went to Epcot on Tuesday. We were all very tired from staying up so late the previous night so after our supper we left. We went back on Friday so that we could visit all the countries and get the kids passports stamped.

Epcot was having a garden show and there were lots of very cool topiaries around the park.

One of Miller and Bailey's favorite things at Epcot was the Kim Possible spy game where we were given a phone and we had to follow the clues to solve a crime.

We ate supper at the Royal Dining Hall with the princesses on Tuesday night. Madelyn's favorite princess was Belle.

Bailey's favorite was Ariel.

Ariel invited Bailey and Madelyn to march around the restaurant with her and the other princesses (we also met Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora). I was so excited (and a little shocked) that Madelyn went along with them!

We went to Animal Kingdom on Wednesday. And yes, we rode that mountainous ride (Expedition Everest). Miller rode it 6 times! Jay rode it with him 3 times, I rode it twice, and the last time we just sent him on it by himself. He was fine with that.

Can you see us?

Learning about bugs

On Thursday night we went to Downtown Disney to eat and shop.

On Friday evening, after a few hours at Epcot, we took the monorail to a resort where we ate supper with Cinderella and Prince Charming. And of course, the wicked step-mother and her silly daughters were there too.

The red-head took a liking to Miller and invited him to dance with her.

(we have a great video of "the dance" and we're going to try to get it on the blog).

Saturday we went to Hollywood Studios. We ate breakfast with Playhouse Disney characters (this is June from Little Einsteins and Madelyn actually gave her a hug!).

Jay and Miller rode Tower of Terror. Bailey and I decided to sit that one out!

Miller and I loved Rockin Roller Coaster

Going for a swim at our resort

We met so many more characters, got tons of autographs, ate lots of yummy food, saw a few parades, and made wonderful memories together as a family. We can't wait to go back!
