The girls were so excited to start school. Madelyn loves having her own work to do.
Miller wasn't as excited but once we got into it, he found out that it wasn't so bad. We changed our math curriculum for Miller this year to Teaching Textbooks (a computer curriculum) and he loves it! He said it's his favorite subject now and he wanted to do more than one lesson. I hope that excitement continues. He will be doing Abeka Language again this year.
Hard at work
Bailey is doing Abeka Math and Language. Both Miller and Bailey will be studying Apologia: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day for science and Story of the World: The Middle Ages for history.
The plan this school year is to do school for 9 weeks and take one week off. I got burned out last year so hopefully this schedule will work better for us.
