This morning Jay told us to get dressed in warm clothes and comfortable shoes but he didn't tell us where we were going! He surprised us with a trip to Myrtle Beach. Tomorrow is my birthday but since Sundays are usually busy, we celebrated today. We started with lunch at Olive Garden and then went to Bass Pro Shop. That place is decorated like a winter-wonderland! The kids had fun trying out all the activities they had set up inside (and Madelyn loved the decorations), and then we headed outside to try out all the boats, 4 wheelers, and gators. Then we headed to Broadway at the Beach because no trip to Myrtle Beach is complete without a trip to the candy store! We wrapped up the day with supper at IHOP. What a wonderful day celebrating with my favorite people.
