December 21

Last night we took a ride on the minivan express.  We started this fun tradition last year.  The girls started asking if we were going to do it again this year when they started seeing decorations going up.  I was able to sneak and find their golden tickets from last year ( I got them lamenated so we could reuse them) but couldn't find Miller's, so he was my helper.  While Jay entertained the girls, Miller and I got the popcorn and hot chocolate ready and in the van.  Finally, Jay told the girls to get in bed (they were not happy about this!) and that's where they found their tickets.  I wish I had a video of the giggling we heard!  Oh my goodness.  After a few pictures they loaded up in the van (after getting their tickets punched of course) and we were off to see pretty Christmas lights.  Like I said last year, I think if we'd have ridden around in circles they would have been happy because they were eating and drinking, in the van, in their pj's, at bedtime!
