Summer Field Trip

We visited the Ocean Isle Museum of Coastal Carolina this week (http://museumplanetarium.org/).  This has been on the "to do" list for a while and I decided we needed an adventure.  So Tuesday we grabbed a quick lunch and set out on our adventure.

Goofing off, as always

Looking at butterflies and moths under the microscope

We saw lots of shells that we regularly see on the beach

The touch tank was a favorite for all 3 kids

There was a scavenger hunt for the kids to complete, and a prize at the end!

We went to a short lecture on whales and made a whale craft

We had lots of fun exploring the museum and hope to take our homeschool group there soon!
