A Day at the Beach

Yesterday the kids and I went to Emerald Isle to visit my parents and sister.  They were spending a few days there and they invited us to join them for some fun in the sun.  We spent some time on the beach,


and in the waves.



Madelyn enjoyed the porch swing.


We even ate supper outside on the porch.


Then we took a walk to the go carts!  We camped at Holiday Travel Park every summer when I was young.  It was so fun to go back here and see how things have changed.  These are the same go carts we rode many summers!  I never thought I'd one day ride them with my kids. 


He's ready for his first solo go cart experience!


I love Bailey's facial expressions! 



I had to carry this one on throwing a fit but she loved it.



They said it was AWESOME!!!


Madelyn caught a ride with Granddad on the walk back to the beach house.
