Last night was Court of Honor for Miller's troop. This happens every few months and is where the scouts are awarded with rank advancements and the merit badges they've earned. Miller was awarded with Scout and Tenderfoot rank as well as Fingerprinting, First Aid, and Swimming merit badges. First Aid and Swimming are Eagle required merit badges. He earned his merit badges at scout camp this summer.

The scout's parents get to go up with him when he earns a new rank and the scout pins his mom with the rank as well.
