Color Me RAD!

Today Miller, Jay,and I ran the Color Me Rad 5K. It was Miller and my first 5K!!!  I started running almost 2 years ago and never thought I'd see the day where I could run that distance.  My goal was to run a 5K before I turned 40 and I made it! 

Friday we went to pick up our race packets.  Who's RAD?  This guy!

Before the run:


We ran with our friends, Lindsey and Travis.  Our team name was The Neon Nuts!


After:  Jay, Lindsey, and I ran the whole thing (with the exception of about 30 seconds when we stopped to get some water) in 33 minutes! (Miller and Travis left us in the dust at the beginning of the race).




Very excited about my accomplishment!
