A Trip Down Memory Lane--Part 1

Last weekend, we went on a little trip with my parents and sister. We visited a place I hadn't be in over 16 years--Spring Hope, NC. This is where my grandparents and my dad grew up. My dad has many wonderful memories of growing up there, and wanted to share those memories with his grandchildren. The first stop was in a small town called Bailey. I remember, as a child, going to visit my great-grandparents and passing through Bailey. I always liked that name. I never thought I'd have a daughter with the same name!

Next stop: Big sister's house. Big Sister was my great-grandma's (little) sister. My great-grandma and her family lived in this house, but Big Sister lived there into old age until she died.
