Happy Mother's Day
We spent Mother's Day weekend with our moms. I know I have said it before, but I'm so thankful that we live close enough to our families that we can go visit anytime we want to. And they both live close to each other, so we can see both in one visit! We visited Jay's mom on Saturday afternoon. The kids enjoyed playing with "Chubs" (they have become quite attached to that puppy) and Bailey and Jay went wading in the pond, catching tadpoles.
(Chubs has a new home now and I know this will make my girls sad!)
Jay and his mom
We went to church with my parents on Sunday and spent the afternoon with them. We even got to visit my grandma. Jay found his old bow at his mom's so he brought that with him and we enjoyed shooting Granddad's arrows in his backyard.
I see archery lessons in our future!

The girls stayed at my parents house so that Miller could have a quiet house for testing. He has always taken his end of year test at the private school in our area, but they don't have 7th grade, which means I administered his test this year! I was nervous about it but it went very smoothly. We celebrated by taking our books and reading on the beach. I can't think of a better way to celebrate!
I was able to get a few things done around the house, including organizing the girls closet and getting their room ready for a surprise! I'll keep you posted!
