Mission Trip and Girls Trip

Last week, our youth group went on a mission trip to Louisville, KY (through X-Fuge). Jay and Miller went (their first mission trip); Jay as a chaperon (he drove a van). They served at an orphanage, a church, met new people, played lots of fun games, ate lots of tater tots, got very little sleep, made new friends, and well I could go on and on. It was a wonderful experience for them. I'll have to get some pictures from Jay to share with you but for now, here is the group as they were getting ready to leave.
While they boys were away, the girls had a little trip of our own. My sister and I took the girls to Charlotte for a few days. Our first stop was the American Girl store! What a fun experience!
In front of the Salon & Bailey's doll after getting her ears pierced. We also had a snack in the Bistro. Yum!
There was a Tiffany & Co. in the mall so of course we had to get a picture in front of it!
Hotel shenanigans
We had lots of fun shopping, exploring Charlotte (thanks GPS!), antiquing, watching HGTV, jumping on the hotel beds (shhh, don't tell) and making fun memories together!
