A Day at the Park

We went to Halyburton Park on Monday. The weather was so beautiful so we took lunch and the kids bikes and we rode the trail. The kids have started keeping a "nature notebook" so we stopped along the trail to draw. Miller chose a pine tree with very "bendy" branches. I'm hoping that we can spend some time each week observing things in nature and recording their findings in their notebooks.
