Fishin'

Last week Miller had the privilege of going fishing with Granddad. It was a beautiful day at the beach and they caught a lot of fish!



I'm so thankful Miller has the opportunity to make precious memories with his Granddad!

While the Boys Were Away...

...the girls played! My sister came last weekend and we had a girls weekend. After Bailey's soccer game Saturday, we spent the day shopping in Myrtle Beach. After church Sunday, we went to brunch downtown and then walked around and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Sister Trip

My sister and I took an early birthday trip last week to Ashville, NC. We spent our first night at the Grove Park Inn. It was beautiful! We spent all afternoon and evening and the next morning exploring the grounds and the buildings.

After we checked out on Thursday, we went downtown. We shopped and took lots of pictures.

On Friday we decided to drive to Chimney Rock before coming home. The elevator was closed for renovations so we didn't go up but it was a beautiful drive through the mountains.

Mother's Day

I am so blessed to have been able to spend Mother's Day with my children, my mom, and my mother-in-law. We went to church with Jay's mom,

had lunch together, and then played outside for a bit. The kids really enjoyed playing with the 1 week old puppies.


Then we headed over to my parent's house.

After spending some time there, we went over to my Grandma's house to have a family gathering with her and my aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was so nice to see the great-grandchildren playing together.

Easter Weekend

Since Jay had that Friday off, we went to visit Grandma and Granddaddy on Friday. The kids played with cousins...

and had an indoor egg hunt because it was raining.

On Saturday, we spent the day at Nana's house. Aunt Tami, Uncle Bill, and the kids came too. We ate lunch together (the kids ate outside)...


and climbed trees while waiting for the adults to hide eggs...

We came home Saturday night so that we could be with our church family on Sunday. Here are our pretty girls

Our Week in Pictures

My parents and sister came last Friday and we had fun eating out and shopping. We also walked around downtown, visited the Lynx ship that has been docked on the river, and had a fun little photo shoot with the girls.










Our garden: Lettuce, snow peas, tomato, and banana peppers


We added green beans, bell peppers, and squash this week.


We went to the beach today with friends. It was our first visit to the beach this spring and it was so nice to just sit and enjoy the breeze.
