Busy Busy!

Usually this time of year is when we start to wind things down but, boy, have we been busy lately! Miller is taking golf again this spring and both he and Bailey are taking swimming lessons. We also have a few more exciting field trips planned this week. But I'm pleased to say that we'll be done with school by May 12th! We always start the first week of August so that we have a little more flexibility and we get done earlier. Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks.

We went to Halyburton Park with some friends and the kids rode bikes on the trail. Even Miss Madelyn rode around on her "bike".


Miller and I had a much needed date last weekend. We went out to breakfast and then went downtown to the farmer's market. We had a great time together (and I even got a few pictures of him).

Today Grandma and Granddaddy came for a visit. Granddaddy went fishing so we took Grandma to the aquarium. Here they are looking at the turtles.




We got a beautiful shower of rain this evening. We love it when it rains on a sunny day! Jay and the kids went out to run in it and they saw this...


What a beautiful reminder of God's promises and His love for us!
