2 Field Trips in One Week...A Great Way to End the School Year!

We finished up with our homeschool group last week by taking 2 field trips in 2 days! On Thursday we went to the USS NC Battleship. It was a beautiful day and not very busy. It was also our first time visiting the battleship.

On Friday, we went to hear a Beekeeper speak. I think that was one of my favorite field trips this year. It was so interesting to learn about bees and beekeeping. God's creatures are truly amazing!

The beekeeper was so nice and informative. He took time to answer all the questions and even brought us some honey sticks and gave all the kids some wax from his bees that he molded into heart shapes.
