What a Week

This has been a long and tiring week. Madelyn started running a fever last Saturday and is stilling running a fever! This makes day 8. The doctor told us to give it 10 days and that it's just a virus. Our poor baby has felt so bad. I think this is her first sickness, other than the normal colds. She has shown some signs of improvement today though so maybe we're on the upside of this thing.

You know something is wrong when Madelyn sits on the couch like this for more than 2 minutes


Bailey, Madelyn and I did our toenails earlier this week. This was Madelyn's first time getting her toenails painted and she is so proud of them! I know it's hard to see them in this picture but of course I had to take a picture to document this momentous occasion!


We are so excited that we cut our first lettuce this week!


It wasn't much, but it tasted so good! Our garden is really growing well. We have a small squash and our blueberry bush actually has (very small, baby) blueberries on it! We didn't think that thing would ever produce!

Miller has his last test on Monday and then we'll be done with school for the summer! We are so excited about the break. We have a couple of fun things planned for next week if everyone is well.

I hope all you moms that read this have a wonderful Mother's Day! To my mom and my mother-in-law, Happy Mother's Day! I love you both and sure wish I could be with you this weekend!
