We're Still Here

It's been a while since my last post. We have been busy with school and a few new things. One of those new things is Awana! Our church started Awana this month for the first time and it's going great. The kids love it and there is even a class for Madelyn. Each night is themed and the past 2 weeks were Crazy Hair Night and Crazy Hat Night. It's fun to see the kids coming in their themed attire and having fun with it.

Another new thing is Children's Choir at church. This summer some ladies started a children's choir for kids 1st through 5th grade. They worked so hard and the final production was this past Sunday night. They did great! I'm so proud of everyone involved!

This week has been busy with fun activities. On Tuesday night, Chick-fil-A had Star Wars night. We got to meet some of the characters of Star Wars and Miller even had a light saber duel with a Jedi!

Yesterday, our homeschool group went on a field trip to a fire station. This was our first time touring a fire station. The kids really enjoyed learning about fire safety and getting to sit inside a real fire truck!

Today marks 8 weeks that Bailey has had her ears pierced. She was so excited about changing her earrings. She chose a pretty pink pair that she got for her birthday.

Of course, Madelyn had to pose too. This is her trying to show off her ears!

I think that should catch you up on what's been going on with us this month! I've started a (sort of) new schedule with Miller for school and it seems to be working...most days. I will post about that later. And Bailey is doing something exciting tomorrow. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and share them with you!
