WWAY TV 3 Field Trip

On Thursday, our homeschool group took a field trip to the WWAY television station. Meteorologist Jerry Jackson was our tour guide. I think everyones favorite part was standing in front of the green screen trying to give a weather report!

Mr. Jackson was asking them to point to a certain day (they were looking at the weekly forecast on the monitor in front of them)


It wasn't as easy as they thought!

We learned a lot about a meteorologist's job and what goes on behind the scenes. We also heard a few funny stories about behind the scenes bloopers.
