While the Kids Were Away...

Mommy sewed! I rarely sew. I don't have a place to keep my machine out and so I store it in the closet. When I do get it out to sew, I have to use the kitchen table and, let's face it, my kitchen is small and my 3 kids would want to be in the middle of the action! But while they spent a few days at my parents house, I decided to do a little sewing. I bought a vintage pillowcase and found a simple set of instructions on the internet and about an hour or two later, voila! Madelyn has a new dress!







This is Madelyn's favorite picture. She insisted on getting one beside the slip-n-slide!


It was fairly easy and I can't wait to make one for Bailey!
