Our Vacation--Day 1

We took our family vacation this past week and covered a lot of ground!  So much so, that I'm going to post each day separately on the blog.  We left last Sunday morning and took I-95; our destination:  Pennsylvania!  Jay surprised us and stopped in Washington, DC.  We visited Arlington National Cemetary and the White House!

This was so cool!  We saw 3 helicopters, just like this one, fly over and one landed right at the front door of the White House.  After a while, it took off and flew away.  We figured someone very important must have been in it!

We stopped for supper here (in Baltimore, MD).  This little hole in the wall was on an episode of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.  It was so delicious! 


Next stop:  Philadelphia, PA!!!
