Emerald Isle Beach

My parents and sister go to Emerald Isle every summer and for the past couple of years, the kids and I have joined them for a day or two. We enjoy relaxing on the beach (well, not much relaxing because the kids want my sister and I to be in the water boogie boarding with them or building a sand castle). The past 2 years we've gone the waves have been awesome! Perfect for boogie boarding. Madelyn and I actually gave it a try this year and loved it.

Evening walk on the beach (Jay surprised us and came down for the afternoon one day) One of our annual activities is to walk down the road to the go-carts and have a race. Jay took my place this year as a driver and I took pictures. Bailey drove this year for the first time and did great!
