Last week was QUIET around here! The big kids spent Sunday night through Friday with my parents. They had a very busy, fun, and adventurous week. Bailey was introduced to Barbies (my mom and sister got all of the barbies down from the attic) and from what I hear, there was a big wedding. They went to the Museum of Life and Science in Raleigh on Tuesday, and on Wednesday they spent the day playing with 2 of their cousins. Madelyn and I drove there on Thursday and spent the night. We ate supper with my grandma and on Friday we visited with Nana for a few hours before coming home. The kids got to see brand new baby puppies at Nana's house and of course they played with Pippi and fed the fish. Madelyn enjoyed the one on one time she got with Mommy and Daddy while the big kids were gone. I took her to get her pictures made and we got a lot done around the house. It was a good break but we're glad Miller and Bailey are back home.

We've been enjoying the beautiful weather this week! The girls have been swinging a lot
and we even played a game of touch football
This weather put us in the mood to plant stuff so we planted a squash plant and also a pretty purple flower in our hanging basket. Hopefully we'll get lots of squash this summer!
